I want to draw your attention to an excellent speech given this week by South Australian MLC and former investigative journalist, Frank Pangallo to his state parliament.
In his heartfelt and fact-filled address, he introduced a motion to inquire into and report on young people seeking assistance for gender dysphoria in South Australia and related matters.
I was grateful to see Mr Pangallo apply his journalistic talents and investigative rigour to blow the dust off folders holding uncomfortable truths on this issue. We wholeheartedly support his request for an inquiry into these matters.
His move comes as Australian medical professionals – bound by an oath to “not do harm” to their patients – join the growing list of voices expressing grave reservations over research into the negative effects of gender affirming services.
We encourage you prayerfully engage with our new campaign, to give Mr Pangallo’s bold push for truth to surface the full support it deserves.

Lastly, I spoke this week with Michelle Rowland regarding religious freedom in the context of the proposed Misinformation and Disinformation Bill. The Bill’s release has been delayed, with measures to protect religious freedom being worked in. We appreciate the movement and dialogue, but will watch the space closely, strongly preferencing the Bill’s complete removal.
