US Ambassador David Friedman explains how he changed a senator’s views on Israel by introducing him to United Hatzalah, a volunteer-based EMS organization.
United Hatzalah, a volunteer-based EMS organization, inaugurated 180 ambucyles at an event at the Tel Aviv port on Friday. It was the single-largest ambucycle inauguration in the history of the State of Israel.
US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, one of the first and founding directors of United Hatzalah, told the crowd how the organization helped him to change the negative views of a US senator about Israel and the Jewish People.
At United Hatzalah, the volunteers represent Israel’s diverse society. The wounded, representing people of all faiths and ethnic backgrounds, are treated according to the severity of the injuries.
