Australia Calls Nations of the World – Pray & Fast for USA – 30 April to 6 May 2021

Pray & Fast for USA – 30 April to 6 May 2021

Australia, for almost a decade, has called the nations of the world to join in prayer and fasting for the United States of America. The times vary each year. This year this time of prayer and fasting will be seven Days from 30 April – 6 May 2021.

May 6 is America’s National Day of Prayer. The theme is ‘LIFE, LOVE & LIBERTY’ 2 Corinthians 3:17.

April 30 is America’s National Day of Repentance.

Pray For America 2021

The National Day of Prayer is a vital part of America’s heritage, as is the USA Day of Repentance. The first national call to prayer was in 1775 when the Continental Congress asked the colonies to pray for wisdom in forming a nation.

The National Day of Prayer in the USA shares common roots with the celebration of Thanksgiving; both were national proclamations establishing a Day of Prayer. In the New England Colonies when they were under British rule. The fall (autumn) observance was established by President Abraham Lincoln as the official Thanksgiving holiday in 1863. The spring observance was established by President Harry S. Truman in 1952 as the National Day of Prayer.

Both America and Australia desperately need to return to God in repentance and humility. It is significant that these 7 days of Prayer and Fasting mark the beginning of GO21 in the month of May, a call for Christians the world over to pray and share the Gospel with five people in the month of May. The simple goal is to reach a billion people with God’s love. We encourage each believer to accept the ‘Hope Story Challenge’ and share a video of their testimony online. Let us pray for the release of the gospel.”

Hope Story Challenge

Our sister ministry at the Canberra Declaration is launching 31 Days of Prayer for the month of May to support GO21. This month long prayer call coincides with this seven day prayer call for the USA.

This Wednesday night at 8PM AEST time the Canberra Declaration is conducting a Prayer Launch Webinar. They have invited Ps Jeff Daly, founder of the USA National Day of Repentance, to share. Ps Margaret Court from WA and Werner Nachtigall, founder of GO21 in Germany, will also be on the call with other guests.

The Canberra Declaration team is inviting supporters of the National Day of Prayer & Fasting to join them on Wednesday night to hear Ps Jeff Daly give an update on his prayer points for the USA as these two prayer calls converge at the same time.

Reserve your place at this historic Prayer Launch Webinar at 8PM AEST Wednesday 28 April 2021. You will receive the access code when you register.

The National Day of Prayer & Fasting has been praying and fasting since 2013 for revival and transformation for USA, according to 2 Chronicles 7:14. We believe that our faith, our prayers, and the prayers of other nations are making a difference. God is good. Soli Deo Gloria!

We in Australia are grateful for the protection that America gave Australia and the nations of the free world during World War II. As a nation under God, the United States of America is in a spiritual battle for its very survival. We, and the nations of the world, join with them in this battle.

Please pass this call to prayer onto your friends and networks and join with us as you are able.

National Day of Prayer & Fasting

Soli Deo Gloria!
